| A total of 14 companies from the private sector took part of the event hosting 112 school girls from our Girls Got IT alumna.
The day kicked off with a motivational speech by our keynote speakers in the three regions, Layal Gebran in Tripoli, Safaa Baydoun in Bekaa and Therese Saliba Khairallah in Beirut. The girls were then taken to their assigned companies where they spent two hours and received hands-on experience in departments operating within the STEM fields. By the end of the day, the girls shared their experiences in the companies among their peers. In partnership with Maybelline, one of the girls will be selected through a draw to visit Maybelline’s Research and Development department in Paris.
