Women Vendors Exhibition and Forum 2012

A word by Mrs. Nada Rawas, Board Member and Treasurer: “Through LLWB, I had the privilege to be selected as one of four business women from the MENA region to participate in The Second Women Vendors Exhibition and Forum (WVEFII) which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico City, Mexico, in November 2012. The event brought together corporations, governments, trade support institutions and women vendors to establish relationships with the objective of generating business transactions over time. Through a rigorous selection and matching process, we were brought together with senior representatives of corporations, government and trade support institutions. We were also engaged in Buyer Mentor Groups (BMGs), led by senior mentors who have substantial experience of making buyer seller linkages and ensuring that linkages are made between women vendors." {more}
