Over 18 years of experience in the technology domain in the MENA region with core competencies in strategy, leading people, enabling change, managing innovative environments, building alliances, operations and business development. Driven by a passion for building sustainable and profitable businesses that inspire people to grow and excel, I am today the CEO of ArabiaGIS. ArabiaGIS is a pioneer in the MENA region in providing spatial enterprise solutions and online platforms for the public and private sectors in Lebanon, UAE, Oman, Yemen and Iraq and working with many international development organizations and bodies across the region. Our philosophy was always based on differentiation, creating blue oceans and excellence in service delivery. I led the company since it was a startup as I was the COO through its establishment in 2001 and have been since managing it through growth, diversifying its services and expanding the geographical territory of its operations.
My technical expertise is enterprise software solutions across all delivery channels with my main strength being developing solution concepts and deriving strategies to utilize technology for business transformation.
Believing in the importance of economic enablement to change people’s destinies in our region especially youth, I volunteer to mentor young Arab entrepreneurs with several NGOs and participate in initiatives focused on encouraging entrepreneurship mindset within underprivileged communities.
I am on the General Assembly of Welfare Association and an active member on its committees.
I am an active member of Lebanese League for Women in Business and serve on the peer-peer coaching committee.
I am also a founding member of ISACA Lebanon chapter and served on the board for several years.
I hold a BS in computer science form The American University of Beirut and currently undertaking an MBA at Starthclyde University in UK.
