Christine Arzoumanian Ghazarian is a business owner, social entrepreneur, activist, motivational speaker, trainer, consultant, and a certified Wellness Coach. She holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration- Management from the American University of Beirut.
Christine established her own business in Lebanon as a wholesale trader of Korean sportswear/footwear at the age of 21, and strengthened her family consultancy business, as a shareholder, in the MENA region by working on many joint ventures with various multinational corporations.
In addition to her training and consultancy experiences in both corporate and academic fields, she has over 10 years of experience in designing health awareness campaigns, advocacy, NGO development, team building, fundraising, communication and media, management, marketing and research. She is a Tedx Speaker on servant leadership, a Lebanese Leading Women in the Lebanese Women Leaders Directory 2013, and an awardee from the World Health Organization in recognition for her "Outstanding contribution to tobacco control for Lebanon" 2010.
Christine is an active supporter of many NGOs in Lebanon. She was the first Lebanese woman to be elected as District Rotaract Representative in year 2009,to represent Lebanon and lead 56 Rotaract clubs (Rotary youth partner clubs) to serve their communities with humanitarian, cultural, educational, environmental and economic development initiatives within 10 countries(Armenia, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Sudan, UAE).
She is an active member with the youth department of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia and very much involved in empowering youth and women to be change makers and ambassadors of peace.
As a sportswoman and mountaineer, she was awarded by the Lebanese Special Security Forces with the silver medal in the “Raid Des Cedres" 21 KM snowshoeing competition year 2009 and she was able to fulfill a pilgrimage by climbing Mount Ararat Summit (5165M) year 2012. As for her artistic side, she enjoys playing the piano and supports many cultural musical initiatives.
