The program aims at providing a platform for and building mentoring relations between senior executives or entrepreneurs, and young growing professional women through which they are able to develop their skills and abilities and achieve their set objectives and goals.
The identified mentors are both men and women who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with their mentees. Mentors and mentees submit their applications online and are matched according to certain criteria based on the answers provided to a number of questions.
An orientation day took place on September 12, 2017 for both mentees and mentors’ pools, during which they learned about the process of building a mentoring relation, code of ethics, the roles and duties of each, among other.
The matching of the mentors and mentees based on set criteria and an algorithm has been finalized and announced by the end of September 2017. A total of 15 mentors and mentees were matched, out of whom three mentees and eight mentors are LLWB members.
The mentors and mentees have therefore started their one-year long mentoring relationship. Throughout this mentoring relationship, the objectives to be achieved are specified, documented, and revisited at each mentoring session.
