With over two decades of leadership experience across the development, humanitarian, public, academic, and international cooperation sectors, Dalia brings to her role as Executive Director of the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) a broad and deeply connected perspective on women’s economic participation and leadership. Her career spans government, international agencies, embassies, academia, civil society, and national organizations, giving her a strong understanding of how business, policy, communities, and systems shape opportunities for women. Her work across Lebanon has taken her through diverse contexts, from conflict and displacement to recovery, stabilization, and peace, working alongside women entrepreneurs, business owners, cooperatives, SMEs, and communities. She has contributed to national agendas on women’s rights, social protection, inclusion, and disability rights, while addressing women’s needs across sectors including agriculture, education, water, health, protection, and governance. Working with Lebanese, Palestinian, and Syrian women and with diverse stakeholders has reinforced her belief that meaningful economic empowerment requires understanding the broader social, cultural, economic, institutional, and political systems in which women live, lead, and build businesses.
