As part of its Girls’ Day initiative, LLWB partnered with L’Oreal for their campaign “Leave a Mark” that was launched during the month of March 2018 on the occasion of IWD 2018 and that aims to empower women and young girls by encouraging them to enter the world of STEM.
Under this partnership, L’Oreal made a charitable contribution to Girls’ Day by donating 1,500 LBP against the purchase of one Maybelline New York lipstick during the campaign period. Also, a trip to the R&D Department at Maybelline in France was offered to one of the girls’ day participants selected through a draw that was held at the LLWB Office in Sin el Fil on May 10, 2018. Lamis Taha, from Omar el Mokhtar Educational Center in Beqaa was selected for the trip and will be traveling with one family member to Paris during the month of July, 2018. |
