| LLWB in partnership with DOT Lebanon, WIT, ArabWiC and Women in Engineering held the 8th Edition of Girls Got IT on March 2, 2019 at Notre Dame University in Chouf.
A total of 170 students from public and private schools in Chouf participated in the event selecting one out of 13 workshops facilitated by entrepreneurs and project partners. The event was kicked off with opening remarks by LLWB President, Ms. Asmahan Zein. Keynote and guest speakers during the event included:

A number of workshops were newly developed for the Chouf area including, among other, Introduction to Drama, Communication Skills and Body Language, Theater Space Usage, Dramatic Character Analysis, Understanding Video techniques and Introduction to video editing and its usage for social media marketing.
Girls Got IT is a joint initiative between five Lebanese NGOs led by the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB), in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), and with the support of UNICEF, and the funding of the German Government (KFW).
