Lebanon Chapter’s Learning Committee organized an event “Meet the Leader session”/ Mela, with our Advisor to the Board Mrs. Asmahan Zein.
The discussion happened on Saturday March 20, on a zoom call session, where Mrs. Asmahan shared her personal experiences and stories about Leadership in business, crisis management, and women role in leadership.
In fact, “When a woman succeeds, she reaches out to those around her and pulls them up with her. That’s why if you empower a woman, you empower a whole society”.
Mrs. Asmahan faced many challenges, went through lot of circumstances but no matter how hard and difficult the road gets, she didn’t quit but she had courage and faith to overcome the hardships.
Furthermore, she continually worked on different community projects, her purpose wasn’t only to seek gaining money, but maintaining a good environment and reputation.
Her message to all women: “keep working on education and building on your skills, be daring, defend your causes and fight for your rights”.
Last call was to Lebanese citizens, “Wake up and work together to help Lebanon get through those tough times”.
