In the last two years, several crises have impacted negatively on Lebanese companies, especially female start-ups and SMEs.
And because we are all in this together, The Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB), has partnered with The World Bank Group and Berytech to provide capacity building in times of crisis for women who want to grow their businesses and enhance their business model, marketing, financing, and networking opportunities, as well as learn how to be resilient in the face of crisis.
The Government of Lebanon and the World Bank Group have launched a series of activities that address constraints to improve women’s access to economic opportunities in Lebanon.
So, we reached out to seven women business owners and business managers in different industries who participated in the Crisis Management for Women-Led Businesses Program, and asked them to share their strategic decisions and actions they took to address the consecutive challenges.
Seven Women, Seven Businesses, Seven Industries… Let’s get to know them, here.
The program’s goal was to support these women in addressing the most pressing challenges they face as women in this space.
LLWB and Berytech have been providing customized trainings in addition to mentorship sessions to participating trainers and women-led businesses.
Over 150 women have benefited from the World Bank Group’s Crisis Management for Women-Led Businesses Program to date.
