LLWB organized a training workshop on “Mechanisms for Recruitment and Promotion” on June 15, 2019 at antwork in Beirut. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Fida Afiouni, Associate Professor of Human Resources Management at AUB.
The training aimed to equip managers in the public and private sector with practical skills and relevant tools that will allow them to take the needed professional decisions in regards to recruitment and promotion.
The workshop covered the latest recruitment and promotion trends and practices globally, and in Lebanon. Participants had the chance to learn about the competency-based approach to human resource management, how to develop a recruitment strategy, identify valid and reliable selection tools, and how to identify, develop and promote talent.
A total of 16 participants took part of the workshop from the public and private sectors and from banks.
