As Global Compact Network Lebanon is dedicating the month of May to Labour Rights and Decent Work Conditions, they are capitalizing on the proactive engagement and contribution of their network members in a new digital campaign entitled #ForEveryEmployee.

#ForEveryEmployee is an awareness campaign that aims to increase knowledge on the importance of the UN Global Compact Labour Principles and SDG 8 relating to Decent Work Conditions and Economic Growth. It also intends to enhance the exchange of knowledge and insights amongst our network members.

LLWB’s executive director Ms. Nisreen Deeb contributed to the #ForEveryEmployee campaign by sharing a sentence defining Labour rights or Decent Work Conditions.

“Labor’s Rights are Basic Human Rights; remember, you were once in their shoes”, Nisreen Deeb.

She decided to share a small message that represents LLWB’s Ethics and Values; in fact, decent working conditions are defined by freedom, equity, security, and inclusion.

Because LLWB always believes in its TEAM, and as Ms. Deeb mentioned, Labor’s Rights are Basic Human Rights, we appreciate them because we were once in their shoes.
