Asmahan Zein, career started as a Hotel Manager in Ivory Coast.
Comes with a long experience in logistics and transportation. She was Among the founders of Aramex Lebanon where she worked for 27 years. While with Aramex she was elected as the first female President for Freight Forwarders Syndicate.
Throughout her career she served on different boards:
7 years as Vice Chair of Amideast Advisory Board (founder too) resigned in 2017; Vice Chair of Injaz Lebanon (resigned in 2017); Vice Chair of Ruwwad Al Tanmiya in Tripoli (a regional NGO), up till today; Advisor to the Board of Rural Entrepreneurs; Advisor to the Board of LLWB; Among the founders of UNGCL; Board member of Nature Conservation Center @ AUB (NCC); Chair Person for Seeders/LWAF (Lebanese Women Angel Fund) 2017/2018; Heavily involved on the project of Ardi Ardak in partnership with ESDU/AUB (Environment & Sustainable Development Unit) @ AUB. Working on different initiatives in support of Startups, entrepreneurs. In addition to heavy work on importing different kinds donations from Diaspora.
