Rana Ghandour Salhab

Rana Ghandour Salhab is a board director, governance advisor, and senior business leader with more than 35 years of international experience spanning strategy, organizational transformation, talent leadership, sustainability, and governance across Europe and the Middle East. She is a Senior Partner at Deloitte Middle East, where she serves as Managing Partner for People & Purpose, Sustainability & Social Impact, and is a member of Deloitte’s regional and EMEA leadership teams. Throughout her career with Deloitte and previously Andersen, Rana has worked across more than 50 countries and held leadership roles in Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, and Lebanon. Rana has served on the Board of Directors of Deloitte Middle East, where she also chaired and served on several board and governance committees focused on CEO and Board nominations, succession management, leadership development, public interest and public policy. She has also served on advisory boards including the American University of Beirut (AUB) Suliman S. Olayan School of Business and the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Business. She previously served as a Board Member of the National Commission for Lebanese Women (NCLW) and REACH, a DIFC-based women advancement NGO. Rana was also a member of the World Economic Forum’s MENA Entrepreneurship Action Group and is a founding member of the 30% Club GCC. She is currently a member of the International Women Board of Directors (IWBD) Association and has supported youth entrepreneurship and employability initiatives through Injaz Al-Arab, Ashoka and other non profit organizations. Recognized globally for her commitment to advancing women in leadership and business, Rana was ranked among the Top 5 Global Champions of Women in Business by the Financial Times and HERoes in both 2017 and 2018 and was named an AACSB Influential Leader in 2022. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the American University of Beirut.
