Everything you need to join, be counted, and vote — please keep this guide handy on the day, as both the GA and the vote take place fully online.

BEFORE YOU LOG IN
Three things that decide whether you can vote
These three steps are mandatory for attendance, quorum, and your place on the Elections Buddy voter list.
01 — TIMING
Connect from 3:45 PM
At least 15 minutes before the GA starts. Late arrivals may not be included in the elections.
02 — IDENTITY
Rename yourself on Zoom
Set your display name to your First Name + Family Name, exactly as registered with LLWB.
03 — CONTACT INFO
Have your email & WhatsApp ready
LLWB will confirm both with you live — they're how your Elections Buddy access is generated.

Connect to Zoom early
Join at least 15 minutes before the official start. This allows the Secretariat to verify your attendance, confirm your identity, count quorum, and collect your voter information.
ON ENTRY
Rename yourself on Zoom
Display your First Name and Family Name, exactly as registered with LLWB. Mandatory for attendance, quorum, and voting eligibility.

4:00 PM
The General Assembly opens
SG Christine Francis presents the agenda, Legal Advisor Myriam Jabre covers meeting procedures, and the voting process and your rights & responsibilities are explained.
QUORUM
Quorum verification — up to 3 rounds
Counts are taken at 4:00 PM, 4:15 PM, and, if required, 4:30 PM. Only members present and identified on Zoom at these moments are counted.
DURING GA
Confirm your email & WhatsApp
LLWB staff will verify these with you and pass them to the IT team — this is how your access to Elections Buddy is generated. Double-check both with Ghada Salibi (program.manager@llwb.org).
4:30 PM
Admission closes
No new participants are admitted after this time — the voter list must be finalized and uploaded to Elections Buddy. Members joining later cannot be added and will not be able to vote.

Your voting link arrives
Sent to eligible members via email and/or WhatsApp once the voter list is finalized. Monitor both channels closely.

Choose up to 7 candidates, review your selections, and click Submit Vote — all within the 15-minute window. See the spotlight below.
AFTER VOTING
Keep your receipt & stay on Zoom
Elections Buddy sends an automatic confirmation receipt — keep it until results are announced. Stay on the call: we want to celebrate together!

From the moment Elections Buddy is activated, you have 15 minutes to vote for up to 7 candidates. After that, the platform closes automatically.
